Best "all round" genoa for E26

Bill states that he has a roller furler on the E26. Since you can them make a larger sail smaller but not a small sail larger :egrin: I think that Bill should go with a larger headsail. I have both a larger and smaller headsail, this summer I opted to install the smaller thinking it was going...

    How Young, plus small story....

I'm 50. I started sailing in '87 for no apparent reason other than I had just broken up with a girlfriend and that seemed the right thing to do with the "wedding money" so I bought a Hunter23 and an Alfa Romeo Spider. I sold them both in '93, big mistake, when my twin sons were born (different...

Advice Needed - possible purchase of an e-27

5k for half a share is too much in my opinion. I have a 76 with wheel and exactly as you describe. Remember you will be getting 50% of the aggravation and expense too.

    Removing a fuel tank

10" tall X 24" wide X 16" long - what size it this in Gallons? it seems a bit small for the 15Gallons claimed in the E27 brochure.

    E27 Gas tank/Fuel related question

the valve is under the sink about half way with the compartment door, goes through the bulkhead where a nipple is located then a rubber fuel line takes the fuel to the mechanical pump. I'm wondering if the delivery of fuel depends solely on the fuel pump.

    E27 Gas tank/Fuel related question

My A4 engine died after motoring for about half our like it ran out of gas. while troubleshooting the problem I removed the fuel line from the connection after the on/off valve expecting some gas to come out when opening the valve - Nothing! I suspected I had about 13Gal left in the tank (15...

    new at sailing

I have a '76 E27 and definitely there is a wire main topping lift. The wire is somewhat short so that the last few feet are a line and tackle system to manually adjust it. I addition there is a shot wire hanging from the rear shroud to attach the mast to when not sailing.

    E28 cockpit drain outlet relocate

Man how timely is this? I have a E27 with wheel steering and there are 4 drains going to TWO 1 1/2 seacocks on each side of my boat. I just replaced these along with the others. In addition I would also link to a "manifold" the icebox outlet that currently goes to the bilge and the sink.
