    Hello. Looking for opinions (factual or otherwise) on the Ericson's tri-axial force grid system. For example, does it add strength to the hull and rigging OR is it gimmickey, installed to add sizzle rather than substance to the boat. Thanks! for your insight.

    I'm thinking of putting my 35' 1983 Ericson Mark 3 on the grid to clean the bottom. Have I anything to worry about other than attaching the ropes etc.? Would appreciate some replies from others who have done this.
