65 knots...In reverse

I spent Friday the 24th bombing up I-5 toward the Bay area. At one point I passed a truck hauling the biggest palm tree I've ever seen on a highway. Just in front was another semi with what might have been a Catalina 30 on the trailer. I decided the whole shebang was some rich guy trying to create his own tropical universe somewhere up north. I was chuckling at my own joke when I came abreast of the Catalina. I saw there was another, smaller boat that looked like an Ericson 23 riding on a separate cradle. I was surprised to see "La Petite" scrawled on the aft quarter. Fastest Ericson on the planet.
