Galley fiberglass repair

The corner of my galley counter has been chipped off, I think when the PO replaced the engine. Does anyone know how I would go about repairing it? I am including a photo.

Marine tex and some white paint

Remove (or don't) the fiddle rails and mix up some marine tex or some epoxy with micro balloons. (the epoxy with micro balloons will sand a lot easier). Fill in the broken corner, a little high in both directions, sand and paint white to match.
