bending on mainsail, E-25

well, this sounds simple enough, and may well be...
but it's not covered in my E-25 manual anywhere;
correct procedure for 'bending on' and securing
mainsail on an E-25??

secure the main

1). Slide foot rope or foot slides into groove or track on boom. Attach clew to outhaul and tack to tack ring on the gooseneck.
2). Feed luff slides into groove in the mast until all are installed. Attach halyard. If no luff slides, attach halyard to head of mainsail and feed luff rope into groove in mast as you hoist the sail.

3). If you have luff slides and the foot is already secured, once the slides are installed into the mast track/groove, you can roll the sail up parallel to the boom and secure with sail ties, rope or bungy cords around the boom. If the sail has a luff rope, the roll the sail, starting from the head, until you have a single roll which can be tied to the boom to secure the sail.

Note: this is not normally something you would find in a boat manual..
