Calling All Skippers! Catalina Voyage August 19, 20 & 21st!

I am letting all my Buddy's with boats know that the "Pride of Cucamonga" will be setting sail for Catalina on August 19th. We hope to find moorage at Avalon on Friday the 19th. We then plan to cruise up the coast of the island to Two Harbors and spend Saturday night there. We then will head back to San Pedro late Sunday morning.

If anyone would like to join us for the channel crossing please prepare to depart at 0900 hours from Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro.

I was considering going to Cat harbor on Saturday and going back to Pedro on Sunday so we may see you. How is the mooring situation on the weekends at the Isthmus?

It was crowded last weekend. I had to go down to Howland's to get a mooring. Catalina Harbor had room, though. I just didn't want to take 3 hours to go around.
