Anyone know the approximate length of an all-rope boom vang for a 32-3? Opinions on 3/8" Sta-Set for this purpose?

This one (4:1 tackle, then along underside of boom, down to deck, through an organizer and back to a stopper) was about 42 feet of 3/8".

Plus a few feet extra for the eye-splice.

Awesome Bruce. Really appreciate it. That's exactly how I'm planning on running it--through the port deck organizer and back to the cockpit. So, say 45 ft total....

I also bought a cam cleat to put on the mast for the main halyard like yours. Do you like the height of yours? Looks to be about midway from deck to boom.
