An "Old Coot"
Christian, Again another fine video and one I can relate to also. About two years ago, after a search for a dinghy that I could row, I found a wooden pram (not Eastport) that is a very close cousin to the Eastport Pram which is available, as you know since you built yours, from Chesapeake Light Craft in kit form. (

The rowing dinghy I found is called a "Coot" (
http://building-strip-planked-boats.com/content/coot-dinghy ) which is built from plans but I purchased it used. It needed a little work but not much. It's dimensions are very close to that of the Eastport pram, almost identical but it's construction is a bit different. Most notably the rower's seat which runs fore to aft rather then athwartships. This allows the rower to position his or her weight toward the bow or stern to compensate for the load of another passenger or weight. When empty the Coot sits on the water like a newly fallen leaf on a lake, just like the Eastport Pram. It's not set up for sailing, although I think with some modifications it can be, and there is really no need for a motor since it rows so well. It really fits my needs for getting ashore at an anchorage.
