Interior Clean-up/Teak came out very nice

This year the focus went to the interior and dressing it up...Cushions, teak revarnished, air conditioning and just making it more homey. I think Ericson's interiors are the nicest!

Nice!

Our EY boats successfully combined the "classic yacht interior" with a contemporary and still-modern exterior performance envelope.
Their long production runs, at the higher end of the price spectrum, are a testament to this combination of design and materials.
Your interior is warm and inviting, proving that those are a lot more than mere ad copy terms.

It's not just hype to say that "you can't get teak cabinetry like that anymore".

We have less teak in our Olson, but every bit that we have is that same high quality of fit and finish.

Thanks for sharing!

:egrin:

ps: I rotated the one picture 90 degrees and re-ssaved it.

Beautiful, would you mind sharing some more details about what you did with the wood?

I wish I could tell you it some special varnish, but all I used was Formby's high gloss tung oil. Let it dry, very, very light sand with 240 grit, wipe down with rubbing alcohol and tack cloth. That is four coats. I experimented with a satin in an area, I think it has a little warmer appearance, but I am going to wait to see if I get more accustom to the gloss. I used a foam brush too.

Please let me know if you try it.

Love the stuff! Very easy to apply and it gives a great result--as you have shown.

Very lush. I even like how it goes with the upholstery and the curtains.

I can’t believe I said that...
