Paint matching

Gary Peterson

Since I am color blind can someone advise me what shade of white did Ericson use in the mid 80s?
The reason I ask is I need to paint my sun damaged transom this winter.
thanks

i'd hire a freelance boat painter to do the transom in two-part paint, and have him (and everybody else) vote on a chip match.

It only has to be "close" since the transom and hull are always in different light, which makes the difference hard to tell.

I forget which chip off the Awlgrip color chart I used. I think I changed my mind anyhow, after the first coat.

My painter charged $300 to prep the gelcoat plus two or three coats. He screwed it up, so wound up doing five.
