I am planning to replace my older and outdated wind instrument head and transducer / sensor this summer.
On my previous sailboat, I used Simrad and B&G products and liked them more than others, and when I purchased my Ericson last year, prior to selling my previous sailboat, I relocated my Simrad chartplotter(only 2 yrs old) to my new Ericson sailboat but the existing wind instruments my Ericson are well outdated.
Question is wireless or hard wire for the wind transducer. I have read poor reviews for years on Raymarine wireless system but I see that B&G has came up with a wireless wind transmitter head product using Bluetooth booster.
Does anyone have experience with this or similar wireless wind transducer systems?
