Rub rail for 1986 E-38

Ahoy:
The boat yard where I keep my boat has asked me to see if anyone knows where to get the aluminum extrusion that is part of the rub rail on an 1986 Ericson 38. Though I have not seen it myself, it has been described to me as "short, fat u-shaped section of aluminum about 1-1/4" wide." There is an E-38 owner here who needs it and it appears that our list is the first, best way to find out about it. Anything doing? Thanks.

You can get it from Pacific Seacraft, at least I did a few years ago. Check the parts section of its web site. The trick is getting a 40' extrusion shipped from the west coast affordably and in one piece. Incredibly, PSC managed to have mine flown to NY for $125.

Thanks for that. Have notified the boat yard that they will need to deal with PSC, which they are easily able to do.
