Head Hot Water Pressure

Pat O'Connell

Member III
Hi Respected Owners
I can't figure out why I have residual pressure in the head hot water faucet when it is cold. There is no residual pressure in the galley faucet hot or cold. I can't find a check valve in the head line but that seems to be the only way I would get any residual pressure. This season is the first year that I have noticed it????
We would be grateful for any explanations. Best Regards Pat 1981 E28+ Universal 5411

There is usually a check valve between the pump and the hot water heater. But that should affect the galley equally?
