HELLO TO ALL!

I'M A NEW OWNER OF A VERY NEGLECTED LITTLE 25 SWING KEEL, AND IN DIRE NEED OF FINDING ANUMBER OF NEW PARTS IN ORDER TO BRING BACK THIS LITTLE BEAUTY.

IF ANYONE CAN ADVISE ME AS TO WHERE I COULD FIND NEW HATCHES, SPECIFICALLY THE SLIDING COMPANIONWAY HATCH, AND THE FORWARD HINGED HATCH, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!

THE CURRENT HATCH FRAMES , IBELIEVE ARE MADE OF TEAK,
AND HAVE SEVERELY DETERIORATED, TO THE POINT THAT I DON'T THINK THEY ARE SALVAGEABLE. LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM ANYONE WITH IDEAS! THANKS!!
REGARDS,

BOB MYERS

It's been a decade...

mine were pretty well gone but there was enough left to copy

I clicked on the screen name of the thread starter and he logged in a few times later in 2004, but no activity since. Looks like he moved on....

Thanks for your thoughts.
The wood hatch deterioration problem is common to 70's Ericsons, designed/constructed before alloy-framed hatches were commonly available.

Regards,
Loren

I realized after my reply that it was an old old old link. Just had a laugh with my daughter about this a few minutes ago.
