Dodger For E32-2

John Bouchard

Member II
I got a quote for a dodger for my E32 that was quite pricey! Several shops offer a more attractive price if they have patterns for a particular boat.

Does anyone (maybe west coast??) know of a canvas shop that has patterns for the E 32?

A similar question: Has anyone purchased an off-the-shelf, pre-made dodger to fit to an E 32?

Thanks for suggestions!

After reading lots of posts about dodger costs on various forums (fora ?) we took the plunge and ordered an LSZ-1 canvas sewing machine from sailrite.com. It's a slow way of getting the dodger, but after practicing on curtains, cusions, tiller covers ... we should be ready to do the dodger kit some justice and be ahead a few thousand dollars. We'll see how long it takes.

No, sail sewing is not in our future :)
