Well sort of. Around 2000 or so I bought a new Genoa from Doyle Sail Detroit, and gave them my old Genoa to sell. And totally forgot about it. Then in 2004 I lost my job, had to sell the boat, and in 2007 moved to Minnesota.
Well yesterday I got a note from Doyle Sails saying they had sold the sail, and that a check for $399.50 was in the mail. After 15 years. Wow.
I'm not sure what just yet, but it seems as if a total splurge on something is called for.
