1998 Ericson 333 Regatta

I'm Leon Hecht, a newish member who has not posted before. We live in southern Maine and enjoy sailing the New England coast, our usual migration is Penobscot Bay and environs.

S/V Lhoste has a few issues needing my attention this spring and I could use some council. My brain and back are telling me she needs an anchor windlass and I am debating where to place it; either the shelf inside the anchor locker or aft of the locker on deck. The Lewmar V 1 or 2 seems suitable with the motor below deck. Anyone have experience or opinions about this?

The installation requires some modifications and there are several ways to do it.

There's got to be only a few of those around. I have not seen many Ericson boats post-1990 on the market. I remember that period of the big recession.
