pulpits

I want to mount my GPS receiver on my stern pulpit and run the wire inside the stainless 1" tubing to the lazerette. But I don't know if the corners and tees are hollow and can be used as a chase. Anyone try that before?

My boat had the misfortune of being in La Paz when hurricane Marty hit, both the bow and stern pulpits were completely destroyed. If anyone has a used set of bow and stern pulpits from a similarly sized boat please let me know. I can do minor modifications if it is not a perfect fit.
