I'm a realtively new owner of a 1987 Ericson 32 and I have a few questions I need help with. - Keel bolts, are all of them visible thru bilge openings in cabin sole or is there one that does not have access forward of the mast ? - Mast/Rigging - I'm not accustomed to the T-ball rigging...

I'm a soon to be owner of a 32-III and during sea trials I noticed that there was a blower connected to the aft cowlings. Hoses ran to the engine compartment. Seems strange to me to have a blower on a diesel-powered boat. Any reason for this and are they really necessary?
