impact driver
Adam
I do use my impact driver almost daily for work and they are amazing. They make it much easier to keep the drill bit from striping the screw and mostly at those hard to reach place. The problem that you need to be aware of (mostly for old screw that are tread in fiber...
I have one last question before I tackle this project. I got a macerator pump that have tread that allow screwing directly to the tank and a hose fitting in front of it that will go a couple inches inside the tank if the direct attachment is to be use. Or I can install a fitting to the tank and...
head plumbing

looking at your picture it seems like the Y valve diverts the waste either to the deck pump out or to the manual pump and then to the thru hull. The head discharge seems to go through de vented loop and in to the h.t. That does not look right to me, could you clarify...
head plumbing

compass
Chris, if your screws where all rusted, they must have been metal. My new compass came with plastic hardware to attache it to the bulkhead. Brass or 316 SS will work just as well. You may have know all of that but just in case.
anchor roller

You can see pic. of my set up on the last link of Loren first reply. We have different boat but very similar bow section. It has been working great for me. I pull the anchor by hand and what a difference it made.
I also had to move the running light to the bow pulpit...
I replace my compass last year because I could not see through the glass of this one very well. If someone can fix it or need parts from it (everything other than the glass look fine) can have it for the price of shipping. I also have the back cover and gasket, all the fluid have been drain. the...
