Ah you caught me. I’m a former Ericson owner. We had a sister ship to Frank. This is inside our Nordic 40. The headliner set up is amazing. So easy to remove and access. I can definitely take more pics as an example for you, but alas it isn’t an Ericson

I haven’t done this, but someone recently shared to tie your buffer to a halyard and it takes away the weight of the machine. It doesn’t solve the waterline issue but may help save a bit of strain

I totally agree on the reviews. It’s really hard when you have a boat that sails well and is good in light winds to go to something heavier.
