Current Slip Rates at Member Yacht Marinas [UPDATED 2022]

At Vintage Marina in Channel Islands Harbor, 34' double slip (pier finger on one side only, neighboring boat on the other side), I pay $431/mo. plus $12 electric. Among the cleanest public restrooms I have seen. Nice doc neighbors. The guy in the boat we share the slip with called the marina...

Has anyone made their own sail track cleaner?

I used a spare track slide. They are only a few $ at W. Marine.

Has anyone made their own sail track cleaner?

Peaman, This is similar to what I did, but I used only a single sail slide and I cut cloth patches from tee shirt material. I soaked the patches first in soapy water And stuck it under the slide, then I sent each patch up and oscillated it up and down in the track. Then repeat with a new patch...

Yellow patchs showing on the UV cover??

In only four months? I would not be happy with them. Why would North sails use an adhesive which discolors? North sails are not cheap. I would ask them to make it right.

    What's in a name?

I did not know it is so simple to change. Updated my user name to reflect the boats name and length, just now!

    Ideas/Recommendations for interior refitting

True. Not good for headliners. For the panel around the ports it may be useable, though. Simple marine adhesive might work.

    Ideas/Recommendations for interior refitting

These FRP panels might be good for our boats. They are commonly used in RV construction. Easy to work with. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Panolam-4-ft-x-8-ft-Almond-090-FRP-Wall-Board-H090ALT48096CF/309748710...

Ericson 41 In Good Old Boat

There is one in my marina, two fingers over......Talisman I believe. She was the picture of loveliness but i don't often see anyone around her and haven't for some time. Looks sad. The mast is down and strapped on deck if its the same condition as last I saw it. I have wondered what has gone on...

Need jib sheet recommendation for 38-200

BTW I really like the Samson MLX3 for sheets and halyards. Low stretch, good to the hand, doesn't break the bank. https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|2078767|2078774|2078782&id=4804016

Ericson 1987 38' for sale in California

That does look like a very nicely cared for E38. Decent price, IMHO The description says it has windvane steering, but I don't see it in the photos. Here is the listing; https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/1987-ericson-gerry-purcell-7963657/

    Boom Fitting

Erik, Gaurhauer is reputed to be great to work with in these situations and the website says this, so I would call them directly. They might have a simple and inexpensive solution even if you got a used vang and are trying to install it. Maybe as simple as shackles. See below: RV20-1 DX RIGID...

    Boom Fitting

Erik, That is an interesting looking set up you have. I haven't seen one of that type before, but that doesn't mean a lot. ;) What is it you want to replace, the car? It shows a little bit of corrosion underneath, but maybe OK otherwise. A bronze wire brush and some aluminum primer and paint...

Binnacle movement / cockpit sole flexing

From your pictures, it looks damn good down there. Small flat washers under the nuts and bolts, though. I might relace those with oversize and then tighten them up and see if that improves it any,.
