Keel bolts I know we are talking about different years 1968 mk1-1975 mk2 of boats but both kjenne's and mine have easy to get at keel bolts in the bilge. mk 1 model fixed keel.

Rudder play My rudder play was in the connection between the tiller and the through haul post. I drilled out the original holes to a slightly larger SS bolt size tightened with some SS lock washers and SS lock nuts and it's been doing much better.

Speed demon Over the last month of sailing I've tuned up my E23 mk1 to reach 5.9 knots on a good blow. I'm usually running in the 5.2-5.5 range. I'm looking to crack that 6 knot barrier!
