Not sure if this original or not. I have been tryin to repair within reason gear on deck. Photos are attached. I have included both ends for reference. Thanks.
I am using Retool Sikkens Marine Light to refinish my hatch cover. AS shown in the photo I have cracks or open seems in-between the work and caulking. I don't think the Sikkens is going to fill these cracks. Is there something compatible with the Sikkens that I can use as a filler?
Thanks for the input. Plastic slugs on the luff and rope on the foot is what I was looking for. I have had a few people lead me to sail warehouse. And yes may be better.
I am in need of one. Since I don't have one I am not really sure what I am looking for. It seems a bit overwhelming looking on the used and new. I'm fine with used but want to make sure I get the right fittings, etc. I know the measurements are 28 luff and 10 foot. One site lists 7/16" slugs for...
Can you tell me what you did or had for the traveller. I am in the process of running my rigging back to the cockpit and I need to upgrade the original traveller.
That is my concern the touching of the lines. Stanchions are not bent. First photo is my 1976 Ericson 27. Second photo is a well equipped 1976 Ericson 27. On both the running rigging is touching the standing rigging. There are only two stanchions on each side.
Thanks for the feedback. It is being used to keep the lifeline and the standing rigging from rubbing. It isn’t providing any structural support between the two, just keeping the two lines from rubbing.
Working on replacing hanks on my headsail and I have some wear where the hanks were. Is this something I can repair to keep the sail from wearing more and if so how would I go about it?
Thanks.
I am new to my 1976 Ericson 27 with tiller steering and no inboard. I have mounted the outboard. Where should I put the gas tank so that it is not in the way of the tiller or the control arm of the outboard? Any help is appreciated.
