Changing Spinnaker sail numbers

Thinking of just blacking out the old numbers w/ some kind of die. Any ideas on what kind to use, or the best way to do it?
Thanks Dave.

Any chance they are stick on? Just peel them off and rub some corn starch where they were to get the adhesive residue off. It takes a little rubbing, but will generally get acceptable results.

Here is what you do

Take it to a sailmaker. He will cut out the cloth with the numbers and sew in a matching piece of cloth (either with your new sail #, or no sail #).

It will look great, should not cost much (about 50-100 bucks depending on how big the sail is).

If you do it yourself, you can use spraypaint, but it will look awful.

Good luck!

No. There died into the sail cloth. I just dont want to use something that will run real bad or damage the cloth itself.

After I posted I came to the realization that we're talking spinnaker and you were probably died and my thoughts invalid. Oh well. Hit some and miss others :esad:
