"Free Ericson 30"

According to a story today on-line there is an Ericson 30 on the beach that the owner has given up his rights to.

I have anchored out for a few hours at the Coho Anchorage while we fixed a hot dinner -- and then headed on north to SF, into steep seas and thick fog around the end of the cape.
That was a few years ago on a delivery. Very pretty place, but the shore line was indeed kind of harsh looking.

Something I don't understand about the photo attached to the Lat38.com article. How the heck is there a wave breaking away from the shore?

Ins & Outs ?

I think I remember a place called "Ins & Outs" in The Endless Summer. Would this be it?
'Course, since that movie came out while I was in college, I'm surprised (and happy) I even remember seeing it now, much less what was in it.
