We were at our boat three weeks ago to polish and wax the hull, we had purchased a new buffer, commercial grade and set off polishing our topsides. After ywo hours and numb arms we thru in the towel and went to talk to the yard manager / owner. After informing us of the price to polish the topsides twice and apply a fresh coat of wax we figured that the price for us to do the work vs the yard was a no brainer.
Today my brother was at the lake and stopped in to see the progress. The gelcoat before was very chalky and most of the time people just repaint or use a coating product like vertiglass, needless to say we will have several more years on the original gelcoat. I personally have not seen the hull but by the photo taken by a camera phone, it looks dam good.
money well spent.
