I've had to chase various birds from my masthead before, but I might think twice about throwing something at this guy!

That's an osprey. Smaller than an eagle. They always eat the fish the catch head first.

Sure, but who keeps a fish on their masthead?

I guess the same guy who keeps them in a tree.

Saw an osprey eat a fish on a masthead next to our boat. Made a bloody mess on the deck.
