Keel Time

Obligatto is now 24 yrs young and she's getting a smile in the front of the hull keel joint. we've decided to move her to the coast and this needs to be addressed. so its keel time in real time.
She does have her own cradle so a stand can be fabricated to steady. the keel. Does the mast need to be stepped? can't remember bolt config.
Any advise will be welcomed.
thx in advance

More info needed on dropping the keel

I've read the thread and it has helped but I should have asked a better question. Being some distance from our boat I need to build a parts list, tool list and most important a procedure for dropping this piece of lead. I am mechanically inclined and can imagine many ways to proceed but maybe someone can detail the process including tools required , benchmarks for cleaning mating surfaces , etc.
Thx in advance
