I am happy to be the new owner of an old 35 MK II. But I am in desperate need for a wiring and plumbing schematic / layout. I appreciate any help.

Congratulations !

You've picked a great boat.

There might be diagrams in the "Resources" area of the site, in the Documentation Archives & Downloads ?

You might take a look at the 33 on my blog site, it might give you an idea of the plumbing layouts, link is under my signature.

Hope it helps:confused:

You have picked a great boat but having been working on these items myself over the last 4 years I don't envy you starting out. If you want to contact me I am happy to talk you through what I found and help with suggestions. Good Luck

Count on me too. I started 2 years ago, not that I have been working on it night and day...not even close. This job thing keeps busy, they expect me to show up, even when it is nice out.

We have 1973. Have stripped the plumbing and electrical and all instrumentation.

I have originals of both those schematics that came with my boat. They measure about 24" X 14", and I tried unsuccessffully last summer to find somewhere to scan them so I could load onto this site, if anyone has any suggestions for specialist shops I will try them.

I think the value of the electrical one is limited, since the original wiring is inaccessible in most places, and was of such a low quality that it will need full replacement by the time it is 25-30 years old.

Large Copy Scanning

I had similar drawings for the E381 scanned at FedEx Kinkos. See if you have one nearby.

Are "drawings" copyrighted?

Just a naive question. Because the family still sells copies of ericson drawings is it ok that they are posted for anyone to down load. Don't mean to question the generosity, just am concern of this great site being in harm way.

Here's a way to digitize the schematics.

Place the drawings on a flat table. Put a digital camera on a tripod facing down. Try using a flash setting but if the paper reflects at all you'll have to use off-angle lighting from other lamps. Take the picture of the drawings and post jpgs.
