Ignition Switch

I was having problems with my ignition switch (Bosch) which is for my Bukh diesel and was an original on my E31C. So I decided to replace it this fall. When I put it back together now it starts on a dime. But I have just one problem. When I turn it to the first position it engages the starter. The engine fires up but the starter with not shut off. I have to use the kill switch to shut the starter off. Fortunately the engine will stop momentary but start again . Obviously I don't have it wired correctly. Any suggestions on how to tackle this one to correct would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Sounds Like.....

Sounds like the 1st Position is Ignition and 2nd should be Start, which should spring back to Ignition. You have the Starter and Ignition on 1st Position.
Wire Starter to 2nd Position only contact :nerd:
