fuel filter priming

I never replaced my own fuel filter on my Atomic 4. I have a Fram cartridge type filter right near the tank. I have heard that it's hard to bleed the air out after replacing...........so does anyone know how I could easily do it?? Does the priming lever alone do the trick?? Thanks, tired of paying the yard!

It has been a few years since I had an A4 so I would check on the Moyermarine.com website. I am sure they have this info.

I have a NAPA spin-on filter water serperator, located near the tank. Changed it last week. Nothing to it, no need to do anything special. One of the good things about the gas engines is they aren't so fussy about bleeding air out like a deisel. That's a whole different story.

Good luck,
