Cabin top thickness

I have everything I need to replace the clutches on my 35 except the bolts. I need to stop and buy them on the way to the boat. Can anyone tell me the approximate thickness of the cabin top on a 35-3 near the clutches?

Cabin top thickness on my boat.

Tim, Call me crazy but I save all the plugs from holes that I've drilled in my boat and I the one from the starboard, aft of the cabin top right here in my hand is 7/8" thick. So I'd say that 1" would be a safe thickness to work from for your clutch installation. Bon chance, Glyn Judson, E31 hull #55, Marina del Rey, CA

I recently added clutches to my E26. I figured after drilling that it was closer to an inch and a half. This included both layers of glass and the balsa core. I bought longer bolts than I needed and used a Dremel cutoff wheel to get them to the length I needed.
