prop shaft off set

Hi all; there was a thread a few weeks ago re: prop shaft off set and which models have an offset and which don't; I hauled out (not just to see!) and snapped this photo. Mine ('87 E34 #243) is straight as a die. I hope this
does much for the knowledge base, as i don't ordinarily like to expose my lower unit in this fashion.

ps; in trying to locate the previous thread; i searched 'prop shaft off set'; got 842 responses. Everything that had even 'off' in it; and 'prop' Is there a way to search this site for all terms in the argument? e.g. "prop shaft off set"

Thanks for the photo. A picture is indeed worth a whole lotta words.
As to searching, I am slowly getting used to the "tags" feature of this particular software app.
Notice that I added some appropriate tags to your thread -- and sure enough a search on those words brings it up first. There are a lot of previous threads that need updating this way, though.

You can also use Google's "search site" option. That boils it down a bit.
