62nd Newport-Ensenada Race starts today at noon with 1/3 normal participants. Only 272 Entries to date as of April 22, 2009. Usually more than 400 boats.

My friend John is racing his 1970 E-30 Gypsy Woman. Go John!

Newport/ Ensenada

Someone is making great time or he's an early bird, but we just caught the lights of a fairly large sailboat from our living room a bit ago, we live half way between Rosarito and Ensenada. This is really something we enjoy watching, as years past participants, since we are no longer able to sail.
