Having trouble locating a rubrail insert for a "72 E-29 that I've been restoring & upgrading. I saw one recently posted, but it already got snatched up! Looked @ Wefco & Rubrails.com but no dice. How do I get one or is there a reasonable substitute in existance?:esad:

Very possibly, if it is original, it is Wefco #788. While it is not listed on the website the last time I spoke with them they would make a 50' minimum at $3.50/ft. Give them a call.

Rub Rail

WEFCO # 788 CALL 800-854-1220 AND ORDER... The Wefco insert is rubber like the original and will deteriorate fairly quickly..an alternative is to paint your existing rail with cans of spray paint designeed for the purpose..krylon and rustoleum make that type of paint. John

Thank You Both

I called Wefcoand the profile for the insert on my E-29 is #4107 -- 1&3/8" x 5/16". They have two colors white & black. The man I spoke w/ told me that profile #788 would be too small. The reason profile #4107 doesn't appear to match in size on the computer screne is because the profiles are meant to be printed out, then it matches. Thanks for your help. It's much appreciated!:egrin:
