Replacement deck fill caps

There was a thread several months ago about a problem finding deck fill caps to fit the originally installed deck fill fittings and I think I have found the correct replacements.

Two of the deck fill caps on my 1985 E30+ had apparently been lost at some point and replaced with West Marine/Perko caps that did not really fit well. After several months of looking around any chandlery or boat store I came across, I figured I would have to replace the whole deck fill fitting to get a cap that fit properly.

Then I came across a deck fill fitting in a store in Clear Lake, Texas with a cap that looked exactly like the two remaining originals that were on the boat. I ordered a replacement cap and, surprise!, it fit.

The manufacturer is Sea-Dog. It is not the cap that comes with their line of cast deck fill fittings but rather the cap that comes with their low-end stamped deck fills.

Here's a link to the fitting on their website. The part number is 351270-1

I ordered them through a local chandlery for $18.95
