Pedestal for Table 1976 E 32

Hi all,
I have a 1976 32. I am looking to replace the pedestal, base on cabin floor and on the bottom of the table. The 'T' handles that were used to tighten the pedestal became stripped. I am looking to either replace the 'sockets' and pedestal, or get an extending tube that I can use. The original and currentl process is to remove the pedestal tube to lower the table for sleeping. I am either looking to replace with something similar, but something that will tighten, or replace with an extending tube. I don't care.

Does anyone know where I might find something along this line?

Helicoil?

If the only problem is that the threads are stripped why not just install a helicoil in them and keep what you have?
