Sealing Portlights on E28+

I removed the starboard rear portlight, in which the PO had replaced the glass with Plexiglas. I had a local glass company cut a piece of 1/4" laminate glass and then sealed it in the frame with clear Silicone. The old gasket would not fit the glass properly, so the Silicone made sense.

I now need to re-install the frame, but I am unsure as what to use to seal the frame to the hull exterior. I was thinking of using 4200. Any suggestions out there???

Thanks.

4200 worked for me on a rebed but I would have rather used the sealing tape that has been recommended elsewhere on this site. Problem was I couldn't get the port out of the hull completely so I was forced to use the silicon. If you do use the 4200 they say to loose-install the port and wait overnight before tightening the screws the rest of the way.
