Thinking of selling my E39

It has been running through my mind to change boats at some point in the next year or 2 and sell my E39. That really moves to the top of the list all those things I've been meaning to do.

Any interests in a 39?

Trade?

You didn't say weather you were trading up or down in size. Are you interested in trading for an E-29?

was too brief a note

I think that there are at least 2 or 3 boats left in my life.

We are looking at a Gulfstar 50 for the next one. Then I suspect in about 10 to 15 years drop down to a much more managable boat for an older crew. Something between 29 and 35 feet. lastly something like a Catalina 22 for an old fool to putter around in.

A photo of our boat in the SanJuans cn be found at:

Sorry about the very short prior post. Just a shock to think about selling a "member of the family"

Some of the things we did over the last few years:

New main, 135% roller genoa and rebuilt hood furler
New Headstay, backstay and lower shrouds
New 20 gal holding tank
New 45 gal fuel tank
Installing Baltic birch paneling on the overhead (yet to be completed)
An old dodger had the window replaced (restiched too)

Other features are;

less than 1000 hours on a Yanmar 3HMF after a factory rebuild
Replumbed and rewired when I bought it in '96
Raymarine ST4000 ilot with rudder angle tranducer
Raymarine 20 mile Radar

I've put in a double berth aft/port with a chart table up against the bulkhead. (the end of the berth become the seat.)

Price? Who knows....
