New Bomar portlight lenses!

I had trouble getting a straight answer from Bomar on replacement lenses for the portlights on my E38. The originals were crazed and darn near opaque. I had my hatches reglazed by www.selectplastics.com and while I was there they said they could make new portlight lenses too. I just gave them one to copy. The only thing they didn't want to do was tap the holes in the lenses for the hinge screws. Thats an easy thing to do with a 10-24 bottom tap. 7 new lenses cost 361.00 which is not too bad, IMHO. Got new weatherstrip too. My lenses were 5 1/4" X 13" If you have the same type Select now has the CNC program so you can simply order them. Check out the pics, the old lens should be obvious. No affiliation with Select, just that they were easy to work with and the product is first rate. RT
