I have a 5 or 6 year old Nissan outboard (same engine as Tohatsu and Mercury) 2 HP with a frozen bearing on the crankshaft. Actually kinda welded to the crankshaft when the bearing spun. Lower unit and propellor are OK, as is the carburator, flywheel, starter etc. If you want to rebuild it you will probably need a new crankshaft, 2 main bearings and seals and gaskets. No guarantees. I am too old and tired to play with it. If anyone can use the parts, I will part with it (pun) for $15 in its dissasembled state. You pick up, or pay the "pack and ship" rate of the local UPS store.
