Hope Island - May 25-27th

Ok people - here it is: Memorial Day, 2002:

Stan and the North West Ericsons have set Hope Island as the place to meet for this coming weekend.

There's a nice flood starting at 11:30 at The Narrows - so everyone can come. I'm planning on being down there at some point Saturday afternoon or evening (so yes, the party is on my boat this time...). Sunday I'll probably be at Penrose State Park visiting with some of the SSYC folks - or somewhere nearby.....

Come on down and visit - especially those of you up in Seattle we never get to see.... :eek:

Heyyyy - What Happened?

Where was everyone? I got down to Hope Ise on Saturday about 4-5 pm; circled the island; set my anchor and put the wine on ice.... No one showed... At all!! I was forced to drink all that wine myself!!

Then I go to Penrose the next night, and again, no one shows up!

Great weekend - very restful, nice amount of sun and wind....

Where was everybody?
