Ericson 27 ID Plate

I have not been able to locate the vessels ID plate. The boat is a inboard if that is a factor. Also, on my ID numbers on the registration, the numbers on the sails do not match anything. The main has the 27 logo and numbers. Could this be the wrong sail for the boat?

Any input would be appreciated.

The HIN should be molded into the transom at the top on one side. If nothing is there, your boat's hull may have been refinished by a prior owner.
What number is on your main / genny / spinnaker?
And, what year is your boat?
Your title usually shows this number, as will the your bill of sale, and insurance policy.

You might want to search this site for "HIN" information, as this topic has come up in the past.

Try looking on the back of the transom in the center just above the waterline. The HIn should be engraved into that area (or somewhere near there) but may be very difficult to see due to paint jobs.
