35-2 : Electrical Panel Question

My electrical panel is stock and I read alot about isolating the DC and AC connections with plastic shields.

Has anyone got any pictures of this retrofit?
Seems from all I read here on the exchange it would be a safety issue that needs addressing?

Your panel will be different in some respects, but here is a photo of ours.
Our panel is just like the ones in most of the late model Ericson's, with the breakers for AC in a row on the end, beside a double row of DC breakers.
Nowadays the standard is for a cover over the breakers and their connections to protect you in case the panel is open and the circuits still energized.

Our last insurance survey mandated this cover, and coincidentally I had been a bit nervous about working around this area for quite some time.
The simple answer is to unplug shorepower, but much of the time I need it for running tools and aux lighting while working around these same areas of the boat.
I made a card stock pattern and had a plastics shop (Tap) cut, drill, and bend it for me. It is secured with short ss screws. I could try to look up the price, but I remember it as being inexpensive.

The stock Panel on Merlin has NO AC connections.
The Panel is (8) DC toggle switches and (1) Main with old automotive type
fuses. The AC runs through a Standard Electrical Panel located under the
galley sink. Needless to say ALL of this will be replaced with a (20) breaker
DC Panel / Main and (6) breaker AC Panel / Main with Digital Multimeters.
The new panels will be located adajacent to the Nav Station in the Locker
space. The Panels are seperate AC and DC with (3) switch House / Start
Battery controls. Being seperate Panels they will not need covers.
What is your Panel Design ?
