Cut it down

If you like the sail, and except for being 3" too long it fits well, just have it cut down-it won't cost more than the hassle of selling and shipping it-your local sailmaker can do this in about 30 minutes...Or are there other fitting issues?

Well trimmed,

Spendy???

A good sail is not always easy to find-if you like this sail in general, it is hard to imagine how paying $30-$50 to have it adjusted is not better than dealing with getting it sent off somewhere, and then having to find another sail. On the other hand, if it has other problems (leech or foor not right), then I agree. But if apart from tha hoist being too long, the sail is good and fits well, don't give it up-it is not worth the hassle.

Also, why are you giving away the jib sheets? They should stay with the boat!

And there you have it!
