Can anyone recommend an air conditioner (make, BTUs, and where to install) for an E-38 (Pacific Seacraft Hull 22)? This past July on the Chespeake convinced me!

Earlier this year I installed a Mermaid Marine Air 16,500 BTU reverse cycle unit in my E35-III. I am located in the Florida panhandle and that unit just about keeps up with the peak load in the summer. Have not tried the heating cycle but since our winters are pretty mild I don't expect any problems. I recommend you spend the extra $200-$300 for the reverse cycle unit.

I toured the Mermaid plant in Ft Myers and was very impressed with their people and facility. They also have files for many boat types with suggestions for installation, and an extensive selection of ducting, vents, distribution boxes and grills.
