Considering the reputation that your area enjoys for moderate to low seas, that is indeed impressive. The sea state is actually quite common for the NW in a windy summer like we just had. Yesterday the forecast for our offshore waters was for combined seas to 15 feet. :eek:

Nice to be boating on a river, 90 miles from the Pacific when listening to the synopsis. And that's where we spent last weekend, at a marine park dock just east of Portland.
