E26 Galley Plumbing

Does anyone have experience with changing the fresh water hose from the tank to the galley sink on an E26 (1985)? I recently installed a new galley foot pump and haven't been able to clear air out of the line. I suspect the hose has small leaks somewhere but I haven't been able to trace the path of the hose from the tank to the galley.

maybe the hose you're looking for is coming off a thru hull instead of the freshwater tank?

My 1988 E26 has the tank on starboard side under the settee and hose runs from the rear of the tank under floor in front of engine to the cabinet under the sink. Hope this helps

Meantime, run the pressure water and pump the foot pumps at the same time.

The pumps lose their prime and introduce air in the pressure system. It is often necessary to use that trick (which I learne dhere) anytime I run a tank dry.

Something to try, at least.
