Air Draft on Ericson

Member I
I have an Ericson 26-2, and would like to know the “air draft”
of course I have the mast height, but, without measuring water level to mast base
I didn’t know if this measurement is available
Thanks!

I wouldn't take anyone's word on it I would measure it myself--twice!

Take your main halyard. attach a 50' steel tape to it , raise halyard to the top of mast and measure to water and add for antenna , wind instruments, ect . should be 38' - 39'

What Brad said.

This E-26/2 states a 37.5 foot air draft.

Main hoist is 31.5 feet. Shelman measured his 26-2 mast length at 34 feet. I'd estimate topside and cabin at ~4 feet (measure mast foot to waterline) so I'm with Brad at 38 feet plus masthead stuff.

But I would still measure.
